How Doctoralia grew qualified B2B leads +82% across three markets
A healthcare platform with real B2B traffic that wasn't converting. Here is how intent-based microexperiences turned interested visitors into demo requests across Colombia, Italy and Mexico, in two weeks.
A healthcare platform serving patients and providers
Doctoralia is a healthcare platform that serves both B2C and B2B audiences across multiple markets. While its B2C offering focuses on connecting patients with medical professionals, its B2B websites are designed to generate leads from clinics and healthcare providers.
Because these audiences and goals are very different, Doctoralia manages them on separate domains. To improve performance on the B2B side, the team decided to run a one-month trial with Pathmonk across three B2B markets: Mexico, Colombia, and Italy.
The challenge: not enough qualified B2B leads
Doctoralia's B2B websites were receiving traffic, but a large part of that traffic was not converting into qualified leads. Many visitors explored the pages, but did not take the final step of requesting a demo or contacting the team. The main issue was not traffic volume, but intent: visitors with genuine business interest were not being guided clearly or quickly enough toward the demo form.
- High-intent users were leaving the site without converting
- The sales team was missing valuable opportunities
- Traffic volume was fine, but guidance toward the demo form was not
Doctoralia needed a way to help the right visitors take action at the right moment, without adding friction or redesigning their existing pages.
The solution: quick guidance to the demo form
Doctoralia implemented Pathmonk on their B2B websites to better guide high-intent visitors toward the demo request form. Instead of changing page layouts or running a redesign, Pathmonk added intent-based microexperiences that appeared only when visitors showed signs of genuine business interest. The focus was simple: reduce the time and effort it took for qualified visitors to reach the demo form.
Intent-based microexperiences
Guidance surfaced only when real-time behavior signaled business interest, removing uncertainty and making the next step clear without disrupting lower-intent visitors.
Behavioral AIFunnel-stage awareFaster path to the demo
Messaging adapted in real time to surface the demo request at the right moment, so qualified visitors reached the form in fewer steps and high-intent users stopped slipping away.
Demo requestsNo redesign
Doctoralia chose Pathmonk over more traditional CRO tools such as Mutiny, Drift, Gong, or ClickFunnels for a few reasons: a risk-free one-month free pilot, effortless automation with no manual work, a 5-minute setup that integrates cleanly with existing CRM systems, and fully cookieless technology that respects privacy regulations.
The results: +82% qualified leads in two weeks
Across the three markets, Pathmonk delivered an average increase of +82% in qualified B2B leads within a 14-day evaluation period. Across all three websites, the improvement came purely from on-site optimization. No additional ad spend, traffic increases, or redesigns were required.
To ensure accurate performance attribution, Doctoralia followed Pathmonk's recommended setup, first running personalization on 50% of the traffic. This allowed a clean A/B comparison: a disabled control group on the standard website, and an enabled group exposed to Pathmonk's AI-driven microexperiences. By comparing two identical traffic segments over the same period, the team could clearly see the incremental lift created by intent-based guidance.

Across the 14-day evaluation period, Pathmonk consistently outperformed the control group at every stage of the funnel, awareness, consideration, and decision, making the uplift fully attributable to the AI-powered experiences rather than changes in traffic, seasonality, or website updates.
What's next: a multi-goal strategy based on intent
After the trial, Doctoralia decided to expand their setup and move toward a multi-goal strategy based on visitor intent. Because different sections of their B2B websites attract very different types of visitors, the team chose to set up an additional Pathmonk account per website, each focused on a distinct goal and stage of the journey.
The initial account now runs on high-intent pages such as solution and pricing pages, where the objective is to generate qualified demo requests and direct sales contact. A second account runs on lower-intent sections, mainly the blog and non revenue generating landing pages, where the goal shifts to signing up for a lead-magnet webinar and nurturing prospects without pushing for a demo too early.

By separating accounts, Doctoralia keeps optimization focused, avoids mixing intent signals, and maintains clean attribution, guiding visitors more naturally across the journey while continuing to scale results across markets.
